1. Name

The names of characters, guilds, or shops must not be offensive, inappropriate, racist, extremist, or vulgar..

Do not use characters with names containing "GM", "GA", or names derived from the game masters of this game, such as "T0x1c", "DoNigga", "Tasho" .

This is strictly prohibited regardless of the reason behind the creation of this character. Players who use such names or claim to be part of the Metin2GoodTimes Team will have their accounts banned without warning.

2. General Behavior

Please keep in mind that you are expected to maintain decent and civilized behavior. If you are insulted, threatened, or receive unwanted messages from another player, please contact us on the Facebook page or Discord and send a screenshot as proof.

Unwarranted summoning of a Game Master, especially if done repeatedly, can result in chat block penalties.

Do not message the staff with questions for which answers can be found on the website/wiki. Information about drops is available for each Boss/Metin/Chest in the game. There, you can see what each one drops without having to ask the staff.

When conversing with GM/H, maintain a basic level of decency and respect. Do not start conversations with informal or rude addresses such as "ba", "wa", etc. Begin the conversation with your direct questions, without waiting for a reply to greetings or asking if you can pose a question.

Use of hacks or external software that provide unfair advantages is strictly prohibited. Any player found using such tools will face an immediate and permanent ban on their account.

On a second violation, the ban will extend to a permanent IP ban. Should a player persist in their violations, further actions may include a HWID ban.

Leaving an account AFK using external systems to farm is not allowed. If a player does not respond when messaged, this will be treated as a violation, leading to a ban.

We urge all players to play fairly and maintain the integrity of our community. Your cooperation and understanding are essential to ensure a balanced and enjoyable gaming environment for everyone.

Players who have been sanctioned are entitled to request evidence of their penalty within 7 days of the sanction being applied. It is important to adhere to this time frame, as after 7 days, the staff is not obligated to provide such evidence. Therefore, timely requests are essential for transparency and clarity in the sanctioning process.

3. Advertising

Any name used in chat/private message that refers to another Metin server will result in a chat block.

If you want to trade from one server to another, you can write "Give there for here".

Using the chat for advertising other servers is strictly forbidden!

4. Exploiting Bugs

If you discover a bug, report it to the staff. It is prohibited to use it to your advantage, and violating this rule will result in your game account being punished.

5. Trade

Selling Yang/Items/Accounts for real money is strictly prohibited. Any announcement/message related to selling or buying for real money will result in account blocking.

Any message in the game chat, discord, private message or etc that is related to selling or buying for real money will result in a permanent IP ban.

For claims related to real-money trading, players must provide evidence of the violation. This evidence should not be older than 7 days from the time the rule was breached. Any proof provided that exceeds this 7-day period will not be taken into consideration.

Trading between servers is still allowed, but not in the game chat. Any message like "Give here for there" will be penalized with a warning for the first offense, and a 24-hour mute for the second offense.

6. Scamming

Decryption and hacking of the login client, website, or any information belonging to the server are strictly prohibited.

Using programs/scripts (hack/autoclick/macro) that give you an advantage over other players results in a permanent ban.

Attempts to deceive any staff member regarding your payments or trying to get a refund on PayPal will be considered scamming and will result in the permanent banning of your accounts.

Any attempt at scamming or theft between players is considered a lack of education and maturity, representing a person devoid of morals.

7. Accounts

It is your responsibility to ensure that your account details are safe!!!

Do not give anyone your username, PIN, or password!

Do not use login details that you've used on other servers.

Make sure your email is valid and has a recently changed password.

Secure your account through the "Forgot Password" feature. Our system will generate a random PIN and password, impossible to guess.

Do not store passwords in .doc,.txt files on your computer. In the event of a keylogger infection, these will be lost.

Do not accept pictures, codes, programs, links, etc., from people you do not know in person. There's a risk they may contain viruses, keyloggers, trojans, worms, etc.

Take screenshots of those trying to give you cheats, codes, and the like. 95% of the time, these are just programs that send your account username and password to the person giving you the program.

Do not enter the login details you use for Metin2GoodTimes anywhere other than our website and client.

It is not our fault if your account was "hacked", and we cannot prevent it because, in 90% of cases, you provide account information or use the same login details with other poorly secured servers or servers designed strictly to collect accounts.

The Metin2GoodTimes team will never ask for your login details (login, PIN, or password).

8. Staff

The Helper, or the in-game abbreviation [H], is a player chosen to assist other beginner players on the server in more easily discovering the server's peculiarities.
They perform this activity voluntarily on their gaming characters and have the following responsibilities:

Assist new players on the server for easier accommodation with the server.

Respond to personal messages strictly related to the game and may ignore or report disturbing or offensive messages.

They are obliged to maintain civilized language in any situation, regardless if the interlocutor does not exhibit a basic level of civility and common sense; otherwise, they will be penalized.

If a staff member does not use appropriate language or employs vulgar or offensive expressions, they can be held accountable, and as a subsequent sanction, the staff member rank may be removed at the staff's decision.

Please be aware that the Helper does not have the authority to conduct hacker checks. Therefore, they cannot be requested to perform such actions. Only [MOD] and [CM] members are equipped with this capability. For hacker verification services, please contact either a [MOD] or a [CM].

They carry out a very useful activity for new players, and therefore, by this regulation, it is forbidden:

The helper should be contacted to assist you only when you cannot find the solution on the website or wiki. If the solution is available on one of these platforms, the helper may refer you with a simple link for greater efficiency.

Offensive or insulting messages directed at helpers are also prohibited. They will be addressed according to the other points in this regulation.

Messages meant to "test" the helpers' knowledge about Metin2 are also forbidden. They are not required to know Metin2 perfectly but just specific features of our servers, be up-to-date with news, regulation changes, and gameplay (new implementations such as mobs, maps, items, etc).

Creating new characters intended to insult or offend the helpers can result in a permanent IP ban.

Complaints against helpers should be made through discussions posted in their entirety. Partially posted discussions will be ignored.
